AIC investment trust workshops

The Association of Investment Companies is holding a series of free training sessions on investment trusts in May.

The Association of Investment Companies (AIC) is holding a series of workshops around the UK providing a practical introduction to investment trusts to financial planners, paraplanners and wealth managers.

Designed as structured CPD and accredited by the CISI, the events will cover the following topics:

  • How investment companies differ from open-ended funds
  • What investment companies can and should be used for
  • Researching and selecting investment companies

The two-hour sessions will be led by Nick Britton, Head of Training at the AIC, and will be held in London (3 May), Oxford (4 May), Newcastle (10 May), Edinburgh (11 May), Glasgow (11 May), Tewkesbury (16 May), Bath (17 May) and Brighton (24 May). To keep the sessions interactive and interesting, there will be a maximum of 20 attendees per workshop.
