Introduction to Securities & Investment (International)

Why study the Introduction to Securities & Investment (International)?

The International Introduction to Investment is the foundation exam for many higher level CISI qualifications. It offers a broad introduction to the financial services sector, with a specific focus on investments from a global perspective.

The qualification focuses on international markets and covers key financial principles and products in depth including assets and markets, equities, bonds, derivatives and investment funds. It explores the broader economic environment along with a specific focus on the African financial services sector. The qualification offers an introduction to financial services regulation and ensures candidates are provided with an understanding of ethical behaviour and acting with integrity.

The content was easy to digest, well suited for the Kenyan market and with great examples of the European and American markets.
I now have a much better grasp of the financial services profession and their product offering.
