New president appointed for CISI South Coast branch

The South Coast branch of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has appointed Investment Manager Matthew Hull MCSI of O-IM as its new President.

040422MatthewHullSouthCoastPresMatthew (left) has over 10 years’ experience in investment management. Prior to joining O-IM, he was co-Manager of the TAMAC Global Champions Fund and an Investment Manager at Rockfire Capital, closing c.£250m of Infrastructure investments.

Matthew’s academic background and personal interest in current affairs, politics, history, and economics is the driving force behind his work. In addition, he finds continuing extra-curricular development is imperative, with his current focus being on German, Chinese, advanced Excel and Python. Matthew was selected by Citywire Wealth Manager as one of the top 30 Wealth Managers under 30 in the UK, his MSc Thesis was published in Emerging Markets Review.

Matthew said: “It is a great honour and privilege to be appointed to the role of President of the CISI’s South Coast branch. I wish to personally thank Abby Johnson for her outstanding work, leadership, and commitment over the past three years, which I will endeavour to continue.

“I am particularly keen to engage the committee further, with a key focus on the development of local membership, whilst continuing to support current members and wider CISI initiatives.”
