University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus campus (UCLan Cyprus) and CISI deal offers students competitive edge in global jobs market

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus) and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

This new agreement will allow UCLan Cyprus students the opportunity to complement their internationally recognised academic qualifications with CISI vocational qualifications giving them a competitive edge in the global market.

UCLan Cyprus offers a wide range of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including Law, Management and Accounting and Finance. This academic offer is supplemented by executive education at different levels, primarily through its School of Law which will start the process of embedding CISI certifications within and beyond the curriculum on offer at the School.

The CISI is the membership body of choice for financial services practitioners within the securities and investment profession with a range of globally recognised qualifications, providing specialist knowledge, developing skills and expertise. The offering of CISI qualifications in areas such as Securities and Investment, Global Financial Compliance, Corporate Finance etc. will enrich the existing curriculum of students enhancing their knowledge and employability.

On behalf of UCLan Cyprus, the MoU was signed by the CEO, Mr Floros Voniatis and on behalf of CISI by the Director, Global Business Development, Mr Kevin Moore, Chartered FCSI.
