The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is delighted to announce that Keri Carter CFPTM, Chartered MCSI, Chartered Wealth Manager and Managing Director of Broadway Financial Planning has been appointed as second vice chair to the CISI IFP Forum Committee and will also head up the Accredited Financial Planning Firms steering group.
Keri joins Ian Howe CFPTM as chair and Martin Ruskin CFPTM as vice chair of the Committee.
The CISI IFP Forum Committee is responsible for defining CISI’s financial planning strategy. It aims to grow the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and ACCREDITED FINANCIAL PLANNING FIRMTM designations in the UK, develop and encourage the next generation of financial planners and promote financial planning to the consumer. The steering group gives a clear voice to CISI’s highly regarded Accredited Financial Planning firms who will be offering guidance and support to the CISI. All Accredited Firms have been invited to attend be involved in shaping the future for our top firms.
Keri said: “I’m thrilled to be appointed to these two roles and look forward to continuing to promote pure financial planning within the CISI and the wider community.”

The IFP Forum Committee meets four to six times a year and its success depends greatly on the dedication and hard work of the Committee members, who receive additional CPD hours for time spent attending these meetings.
