Is your knowledge of VCTs up to date?

Free AIC training is available on venture capital trusts (VCTs), with three seminars planned for January 2019. Find out the dates and locations here.

HMRC has confirmed that VCTs raised £745m in the 2017/18 tax year, the second highest total ever. With interest in the sector showing no sign of abating, the Association of Investment Companies (AIC) is running three VCT seminars in January for financial planners and wealth managers.

Led by the AIC’s Head of Intermediary Communications Nick Britton, the events in Birmingham, Leeds and London will help attendees keep up with the implications of the 2018 rule changes and understand VCTs’ differing investment strategies so they can make better informed decisions on behalf of their clients.
